Before we get to the details and pictures of each room of the house, a note on the location of the house first...we purposely chose a lot that was far from Leisure Lane, the main road through The Plantation.  Many of the "beach access" or "gulf view" homes are on Leisure Lane, but we wanted a quieter, less trafficked area for our home.  Flying High is on a 1.24 acre "3rd tier" lot and directly on the easement to the beach (the double dotted lines on the map indicate easements).  There are no roads to cross to reach the beach. The house itself is 3 levels with the foyer level at the entrance on the ground level, the first level with the majority of the bedrooms and the laundry room, and the upper level with the primary master and the entertaining area.  The house has extensive covered and sun decks as well as a screened porch off of the dining area.

All bedrooms have 10-foot ceilings, berber carpet, TV with remote control and private custom-tiled baths with cherry cabinetry.  The common areas have 18"x18" ceramic tile floors, and the entire upper living/kitchen/dining area is under a vaulted tongue and groove ceiling.  In addition, all rooms in the house are equipped with a ceiling fan as well as recessed lighting on dimmers.  Please click on the links below to view the details of each floor.
